ESCADA - THE GROUP

The ESCADA Group is a globally operating group of companies in the luxury segment and ranks among the global market leaders for ready-to-wear women’s fashion in the high-end segment. With around 1,100 points of sale, ESCADA is present in 80 countries worldwide. ESCADA produces and distributes clothing and accessories under the product lines ESCADA and ESCADA SPORT. ESCADA fragrances, watches, jewelry, eyewear and homeware are sold under licenses.

The roots of the company go back to 1976 when Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley founded their first fashion house, which later became ESCADA AG. In November 2009, the worldwide business of former ESCADA AG was acquired by ESCADA Luxembourg S.à r.l., a company indirectly owned by a trust of the Mittal family.

Today, ESCADA Luxembourg S.à r.l. is the parent company of the ESCADA Group consisting of 17 international subsidiaries.
