• Dr. Bruno Sälzer

    Chief Executive Officer & Vice Chairman of the Administrative Board

    Before Mr. Sälzer began his position as Chairman of the Management Board of ESCADA in July 2008, from November 1995 to February 2008 he was a member of the management board of Hugo Boss AG, from 1998 to 2002 its executive vice chairman and from 2002, its chairman and CEO.

    Furthermore, from 2004 to 2006 Mr. Sälzer was a member of the supervisory board of Beiersdorf AG, from 2006 to June 2008 a member of the supervisory board of maxingvest AG and, since 2008, has been a member of the supervisory board of Amer Sports Corporation in Finland.

     

  • Harak Banthia

    Executive Director

    Appointed: November 2009

    The 44 year old Harak Banthia joined the Mittal Group in April 1995 and has worked as Chief Financial Officer/VP Finance in several countries. He has been associated with the Group’s steel, oil and fashion design businesses.

    Prior to joining the Mittal Group, he was associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 7 years. He has over 25 years extensive international experience in mergers & acquisitions, finance and management of various companies. He is a rank holder Chartered Accountant and did his Bachelor of Commerce, with honours, from St. Xaviers College in India.

  • Michael Börnicke

    Chief Finance Officer

    Appointed: February 2009, Restructuring, Finance, Controlling

    From 1988 to 1991, Mr. Börnicke worked in the credit department and structured finance team of HypoVereinsbank. In 1992 he took a position as head of finance and controlling at ProSieben Media AG, Unterföhring, where he became commercial director and supervised the successful initial public offering of ProSieben Media AG in July 1997.

    In 1998, Mr. Börnicke joined the management board of Premiere Medien GmbH & Co. KG. In 2004 he became chief financial officer of Premiere AG and supervised the company's successful initial public offering in 2005. Most recently, Mr. Börnicke was chairman of the management board of Premiere AG.

     

  • Megha Mittal

    Executive Director and Chairman of the Administrative Board

    Megha Mittal studied Business at the renowned Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has also completed a degree in Interior Design.

    Having begun her career in her family's own textiles company, she went on to work as a business analyst at Goldman Sachs. In 2009 Megha Mittal became Managing Director and Chairman of the Advisory Board at ESCADA.
